How to remove the Network Lock on your Blackberry 9900
in under 60 Seconds
Blackberry 9900 MEP4 Unlock Instructions
Follow these Step-By-Step Instructions. You can also watch the

Insert
a SIM Card into the Phone. Make sure that your phone's battery is
fully charged.
Power
the Phone ON by holding down the End
Key.
Press
the Blackberry
Menu
Key and Select the Spanner Icon labelled either "Options" or "Settings".
Scroll
down to third option labelled "Device"
Scroll
down to second option labelled "Advanced Options"
Scroll
down and Select the Option labelled "SIM Card"
Now
you will see some text on screen. Enter via the Keypad "MEPD"
Do this by pressing
key,
key,
key
key.
Note: When typing over the screen you will not
see anything
appear on the screen as you type.
The
Display should show "Sim Card: Security Disabled" and
should show only "Service Provider" as "Active".
Note: This screenshot is not shown on all
firmware versions.
If you don't see this screen - proceed to Step 9.
Proceed to enter MEP4 Unlock Codes to remove "Service
Provider Lock".
Now
type MEP4.
Do this by pressing and holding down the
key permanently and then press
key,
key,
key
and the
key
The Phone will prompt "Enter Network MEP Code (? left).
Enter
the Supplied "MEP4 Unlock Codes" and select Enter by pressing the Center
button.
The Phone will
display "Code Accepted".
In case you get a "Code Error", see below.
The Phone will return to previous screen and Display all Locks as Disabled.

If you don't see this screen - proceed to Step 13.
Power
down the phone by holding down the Red End
Key for 10 Seconds
Insert New Sim
Card and Power Phone On by holding down the Red End
Key.
Unlock Procedure Complete.
For Code Error
If you receive a Code Error" try the next Unlock code in your list. Do
NOT enter any code more than once.
